Remembrance Day Service and Parade 2011

imageYoung and old came together to remember the Heroes of Henley who have served their country with distinction and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Dennis Cox, Chairman of the British Legion, said “The number of residents attending the annual service at St John's and the large number of young people showed the whole community recognised the magnificent contribution of our armed forces.

“The Legion is most grateful for the generous support we receive from Aston Cantlow, Bearley, Wilmcote, Wootton Wawen, Claverdon, Ullenhall, Henley and Beaudesert”.

The White Swan Hotel offered all veterans a pint of Spitfire ale on the house after the Henley parade.
